less as well. I as well as all my shipmates, Consul refused to

put us in a boarding house, and let us starve in a foreign

country when all this comes through him. If he would try our

case Your Excellency, he would have punished the captain, and

makes the Captain pay us our money and we would not be left

on the street until we find another employment.

I hope Your Excellency that you will protect

us and we respectfully submit our petition to your kind pro-

tection, and pray you be good enough to forward same to the

Board of Trade or to the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
